What do we offer?
At Hermanus Learning Academy, our team and services continue to grow. We provide specialised academic support to learners from Grade R to Grade 12, with focused attention in the following areas:
Reading
For Foundation Phase learners, we support reading development using structured methods, including the internationally recognised Wise Eye Reading Programme. This approach strengthens eye tracking, fluency, vocabulary, reading speed, and comprehension — especially for learners experiencing barriers such as dyslexia.
Math
We provide Mathematics support that builds understanding step by step, helping learners strengthen core concepts and grow in confidence. Due to growing interest , Mathematics support has become a new addition to our offering, allowing learners to receive more focused guidance in numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Interactive Lessons
Sessions are designed to keep learners engaged, focused, and actively involved in their learning.
Progress Tracking
We monitor development over time, helping both learners and parents see growth and identify areas for support.
Session Packages
30-minute sessions are offered privately or in small groups, allowing for focused, individualised attention.

Chloe Brennan
Learning Guide & Founder
With a background in Education, an Honours degree in Education, and a passion for early literacy, Chloe brings both structure and care into every session.
Her focus is on meeting learners where they are — and helping them build confidence at their own pace.
She creates a calm, supportive space where children feel safe to try, learn, and grow.
Kim Scholtz
Learning Guide & Co-owner
Kim completed her training through the Wise Eye Reading Academy programme, equipping her with the tools and structure to effectively support reading development.
With a natural ability to connect with children, Kim brings patience, encouragement, and care into every session — helping learners feel comfortable, capable, and confident.
For her, it’s not just about learning — it’s about helping each child believe in themselves.
